A critical element for success is ones ability to manage one’s own perceptions. Tremendous opportunities exist all around us, but we need to be aware of them. Some people walk through life with preconceived notions that they are dealt a stack of cards that they must play. Others realize that hidden in every misfortune is fortune. In every obstacle, there is an opportunity.
There are two things that each of us can do.
- Develop the ability to see the opportunity in each situation and thereby create a vision for success.
- Develop the habit of always moving toward your vision or goal, consistently and relentlessly.
Think a little like Walt Disney who was always leaning into innovation and had a powerful motto to always, “keep moving forward”.
