In today’s hustle and bustle culture, it’s easy to sometimes feel that achievement and productivity are the only standards by which our value is measured. But that’s not true. Every achievement, regardless of how large or small, starts with one small step in the right direction, followed by a plan for success. Motivational writer William Ward said, “Judge each day NOT by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.” Success requires patience, as well as nurturing. Today, and each day, find joy in all your successes. Because all of those successes, pieced together, become the patchwork quilt of your life, and it’s a beautiful one.
Something to Think About
It’s true that success is often the standard by which we are judged. But what is success? Success is different for everyone. For me, a successful life is one well lived with no regrets. One that we look back upon, and it causes us to smile.
This week, find joy in all your successes, regardless of how big or small they may be.
