Love is as critical for your mind and body as oxygen is for life. The more connected you are, the healthier you will be both physically and emotionally. Research shows that when you are not connected to others, you are more likely to experience depression or illness. Bottom line, we all need love. It is a powerful antidepressant and a great natural remedy. Love can be the relationship between two people, or the love shared between friends and family. Another way to experience love is to help someone else. When you focus on showing love to others, you benefit as well. This is the perfect time of year to do something for others. It might be a stranger, or someone you know. Reach out and build or rebuild those connections. This is the season for giving.
