The past two years have been challenging to say the least, but as we move forward in a post-pandemic world, it’s the little things that I seem to notice the most these days. Like the beautiful smile of a total stranger watching their child play in the park. Our smiles have been covered for two years, but they are back, and the world feels better and brighter with them in it. I watch friends as they embrace each other, smile, and I am happy that both smiles and hugs are back. I find myself reaching out to family members that I have not seen in a while and making plans for gatherings to see one another and reconnect in person. As we move through this week and this year, let us never take the little things for granted again. Look for the joy in all things, and when you see a rainbow, say thanks. It means a storm has passed, and the sun is back.
Something to Think About
There will always be storms in life. Times of sacrifice and times where we are forced to adjust. The most important thing that we can each do during life’s little storms is to hold onto hope, look for solutions, and offer encouragement to those around us. Remind those who need a little extra support to look for the beauty that surrounds them and reach out to those who love and care about them.
This week, be a beacon of hope for someone in need and reach out to five past clients and let them know that you are thinking of them and you just wanted to wish them a happy spring!
