Autumn is a Time for Change

Share your love

All around us, we see the signs of autumn and of change. Just as nature is planning for the changes that are coming, this is also the time for you to prepare for the incredible changes that are coming into your life as well.  Life is often compared to the four seasons of nature. Spring is the time for renewal and new growth when everything is green and full of life. Summer is the time when everything blossoms and we are surrounded by beauty, which is a byproduct of those seeds which were planted in the spring. Fall is the time for change, and letting go, as we get ready for winter, which represents a quiet reflection on the year just past and preparation for the year ahead.

Our lives have four seasons as well. Spring is when we learn and start new things. Summer is when we see the results of our new beginnings from the spring, and fall is the time to reflect on what we want to let go of and the changes that we want to see in our own lives. As summer ends and the leaves change, you can shed pieces of your past and start anew.

Something to Think About
Fall is the perfect time to embrace change and look deeper within yourself. A time to look back and to be grateful for the things that have brought you to this point and to celebrate where you are now and the lessons you have learned.

Weekly Activity
This is the perfect season to write notes of thanks to amazing clients and those who have touched your life positively this year.

Words of Wisdom
“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” – Albert Camus

“But when fall comes, kicking summer out on its treacherous ass as it always does one day sometime after the midpoint of September, it stays awhile like an old friend that you have missed. It settles in the way an old friend will settle into your favorite chair and take out his pipe and light it and then fill the afternoon with stories of places he has been and things he has done since last he saw you.” – Stephen King

“Give me juicy autumnal fruit, ripe and red from the orchard. Give me the splendid silent sun.” – Walt Whitman

“Autumn is the mellower season, and what we lose in flowers we more than gain in fruits.” – Samuel Butler

“Even if something is left undone, everyone must take time to sit still and watch the leaves turn.” – Elizabeth Lawrence
