How are you ensuring that you get paid a commission when representing a buyer?
With the new publishing of selling office commission on some IDX websites and more transparency in the commission process, we’re slowly seeing a growing number of listings offering less than 2.5% commissions.
I don’t think anyone expected a flood of low commission listings, but in some price points and areas, it is already approaching 5% of listings. Now 5% isn’t a lot, but I expect that number will grow to 10-15% within six months.
